About the SilkPeel
The SilkPeel is an advanced skin resurfacing treatment that combines exfoliation, extraction and infusion of condition-specific serums to improve skin health, function and appearance. What makes the SilkPeel different from other facials? It infuses a topical serum immediately after exfoliation — sending it deeper into the dermal layers. A SilkPeel can be performed before or after work, during a lunch hour, or before a special event as it requires no downtime and will not leave your skin peeling or flaky.
Condition-specific serums will be infused deeper into your skin with more impact. Our Aesthetician can customize your treatment through infusing serums for anti-aging, hyperpigmentation, acne, sun damage, and more.

The good news is that the SilkPeel works wonders and can be applied to all skin types. It can also improve skin with the following conditions:
- Dry, rough, cracked skin
- Acne blemishes and scarring
- Fine lines and mild wrinkles
- Discoloration or hyperpigmentation
- Sun damage
Take 30 – 45 minutes of your day to have a SilkPeel at the Artisan 57 Skin & Laser Center. We will take you to our treatment area where your makeup will be removed (if you are wearing it) and your face will be gently cleansed. Once your skin is prepped, we will begin the SilkPeel by placing a handheld device onto your skin called the Dermalinfusion system. This device has a diamond-tipped exfoliator accompanied by a vacuum-powered suction to clear the skin of dead cells and debris. It also removes the top layer of your skin so that it will regenerate a healthier, smoother layer in recovery. Then, an infusion of serum selected for your skin type will also be applied to your skin. Once the treatment is over, you can resume your day as normal.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Many of our patients report that there is no downtime or peeling after their treatment. We do advise that you protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays and damaging environmental conditions for the health of your skin.
